For anyone who needs an updated version of ViaMCP, here it is, ViaMCP Reborn.
This repository will be updated as much as possible to keep up with minecraft updates.
Currently supports latest version of minecraft (excluding 1.17.1-pre-1)

Allows you / the client users to add custom capes to the client even when its running.
HD Resolution Capes are of course supported, but the cape needs to follow the standard cape template.
Animated capes are not currently supported, but i am planning to add support for them sooner or later.
